The 2002 Foals

Scooter's first foal crop started to arrive in 2002 with this 1/2 Arabian and 1/2 Appaloosa, born 01-06-02. Cast A Nova, has the bloodlines of C.L.Scooter but also added in; the Arabian bloodlines such as King David, Exelsjor, Rabol and Kharasaba just to name a few. "Cast" shown here; is a chestnut color with a full blanket over his hips, 3 white socks and a blaze. He loves to prance and show off. He's been trained to load, bathe, clip and finished to ride. As of April 2003, he was gelded. With his Arabian background, we believe him to turn out well with endurance capabilities. What fun is will be to put some miles on this flashy guy!

Another one of those Scooters' foals, born April 2nd, 2002. Another gelded colt shown here, has the bloodlines of C.L. Scooter but also added in; foundation lines of Joker B, Absarokee Sunset, Chief Navajo, War Horse and High Hand; just to name a few. "Casper" is a white & grey, few spot leopard, dark fading socks and black mane & tail. He loves attention and aims to please with a bit of "teenageboy" play thrown in. "Casper" made the show ring in 2002, placing 1st in Halter at the Sumner County Fair in Weanling Stallion. In September 2002, "Casper" was also shown at the Kansas State Fair...results; 1st Place Halter Weanling Stallion and then to go on and placed 3rd overall in Stallion Halter Class. 2003 State Fair, 1st & Grand Yearling Stallion...he had a lot of promise and what a prize! But, Casper has earned his keep to be a rider instead of show horse. He learned fast and has proved to be a fine gelding.

Freckles will be going to a wonderful home and be spoiled rotten! Congratulations to Erin Russell of Missouri on her purchase of Freckles! They will make a wonderful pair.

"Cadillac" was born to us March 12th, 2002. We do not have a full pedigree on him from the Sire's side, but he is out of Impressive and Cowboy Justice lines. His dam; has lines of Top Deck, Hands Up, Go Man Go, Three Bars and AAmerican Speed; as you can tell she's out running quarters and has racing bloodlines. "Cadillac" is a solid-colored sorrel colt with white roaning, fading socks and a spot on his forehead. He's got quite the hip and chest...very strong and muscled. He's is giving very good indications of being a cutter or like-performance horse. He has the ability to change directions on a dime, while he's playing with the other colts in the pasture. He's a dream to watch when he's runnin' and cuttin'! Cadi loads, clips, leads & bathes. He was also gelded as of April 2003.
